Meet Alixandra Khran! Alix is one of the incredible coaches who was part of the Niagara 2022 Canada Games for the Manitoba women's volleyball team. She also led two of our coach apprentices from the Canada Games Women in Coaching Apprenticeship Program and the Canada Games Aboriginal Apprenticeship Coach Program! The 2023 Canada Winter Games will begin the Cavendish Farms Torch Relay in Ottawa on October 17th with an official lighting ceremony from Parliament Hill, before travelling through the Maritimes and across PEI, showcasing the unique culture, history, and pride of over 20 communities.

Today, at the Centennial Flame on Parliament Hill, the PEI 2023 Host Society, Canada Games Council, and Cavendish Farms proudly lit the Roly McLenahan Torch. This officially kick-starts the Cavendish Farms Torch Relay and will light the path to the upcoming PEI 2023 Canada Winter Games, from February 18 to March 5, 2023.
