Provincial and Territorial Teams

We all play
for one anthem

Since our inaugural event in 1967, the Games have been held in every province at least twice, and now include participation from all 10 provinces and three territories who come together to compete in the Canada Games every two years.

For more than half a century these teams have gathered to compete for medals, but also for local pride.

They share rinks, running tracks, ski slopes and podiums. But they also share ideas, learning about each others’ homes and values through the ceremonies and festivals that surround each event.
